Today I want to talk to you about the importance of Building a Wealth Plan. Becoming wealthy takes a changed mindset and a plan. How do we see teachers and factory workers reach financial freedom, but high earners like doctors and attorneys find themselves stuck in a rut financially?
You see it all the time, folks that have HUGE salary’s, fancy cars, big homes, but have VERY little saved up for retirement and are in fact living paycheck to paycheck.
The easy answer: No matter your 9-5 income, if you do NOT live below your means and fail to build a wealth plan, you will find it difficult to reach financial freedom.
It is EXTREMELY important that you take the time to not only design a wealth plan, but also routinely update and check your progression. If you are living aimlessly through life without a wealth plan, where are you headed? What financial goals are you trying to reach?
The sad part is there are so many Americans these days that have little to no understanding within the financial literacy topic. Set a goal to be part of the minority that does and it will change your financial future in the BEST way.
The best thing about all this is the fact that is does not require some fancy degree, certificate, or a specific financial course. Do not get me wrong, these things can certainly help, but it comes down to your willingness to change your mindset, build a plan, and hold yourself accountable.
So stop spinning your financial wheels or sitting in neutral, and start planning. The next few posts I will go into more detail about how to start building this plan so stay tuned!
